Import audio, video, documents, and images and process them like recordings.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Mobile App? See Audio import.
What is file import?
Import audio, video, documents, and images from your phone's files or photo library. Imported audio and video files are processed like native recordings: transcribe, summarize, and apply templates right away.
Supported formats and limits
- Common audio and video formats are supported, including MP3, MP4, WAV, AAC, 3GP, and more. Each audio or video file can be up to 24 hours long.
- Documents and images are also supported: PNG/JPG up to 20MB, PDF/DOC/PPTX up to 15MB, and TXT/MD/MSG up to 2MB per file.
How to import files?
- On the home screen, tap the + button in the top-right corner.
- Tap Import files.
- Choose From Files, From Photos, or From other apps, then select the file to import.
Import by sharing from another app
You can also send a file into Plaud from another app: open the share sheet there, choose the Plaud App, and the file lands in your Plaud library as an import.
