Does every recording get transcribed and summarized automatically?
Yes, by default. When a recording ends, the transcript, summary, and title are generated automatically, and you receive a notification. Transcription always runs; summaries are controlled by the Auto-summarize new recordings setting, which is on by default. See Automatic transcription and summaries for details.
Can I choose how detailed my transcript is?
Yes. Every transcript comes in an original version, which keeps the conversation exactly as spoken, and a Clean Up version with filler words removed.
Does the app translate my transcripts?
Transcription transcribes in the language spoken and doesn't translate. If the detected language doesn't match your audio language setting, you can re-transcribe with one tap at no additional cost.
Do I have to use the calendar view?
No. The calendar view is an additional way to find files by event. Your file lists and folders work as before.
Which calendars can I connect?
You can connect natively to Google Calendar.
Can Plaud Agent work with more than one file?
Yes. A task in Work mode can use a single file, any combination of files, or a whole folder as context.
Which tools can Plaud Agent connect to?
Google Calendar, Slack, Notion, Linear, and more so Plaud can work directly across your tools. Zapier support extends your workflow to more third-party apps.
Does upgrading change my subscription?
No. Plans and pricing stay the same, and you receive a one-time Plaud Credits for Work mode usage. See Does upgrading change my subscription? and What are Plaud Credits?.
