Turn off two-step verification anytime from your security settings. This article covers the steps and what changes afterward.
How do I turn off two-step verification?
Go to Settings > Account & security > Security > Two-step verification, select the method, and turn it off. You'll verify your identity with your primary method first; you can switch to a backup method on the verification screen. You can turn off one method or all of them. Turning off the authenticator app asks you to confirm removing it, and turning off your last method asks you to confirm disabling two-step verification.
What changes after turning off two-step verification?
Sign-in returns to a single step, and sensitive account actions no longer ask for re-verification. Your backup codes (Recovery Codes) are invalidated once no verification method remains. You can re-enable two-step verification at any time.
