Keep your library tidy: rename files, and move them where they belong.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Mobile App? See Rename, move, delete, and restore files.
How to rename a file?
- Enter multi-select mode (swipe left on the file, or tap the sort button next to Meeting notes > Select; in Library, tap the top-right ⋯ > Select) and select the file. You can also open the file's menu directly from the list.
- Tap Rename in the bottom bar and enter the new name. Duplicate names can't be saved.
Now, titles are generated automatically from the transcript and any linked calendar event, so renaming is optional.
How to move files?
- Select the files the same way, then tap Move in the bottom bar and choose the destination folder. You can also drag a file into a folder, or use Move to folder from the file's list menu.
- Select several files to move them in batch. Name conflicts resolve automatically by appending a number.

FAQ about file management
Can I rename files in bulk?
No. Renaming works on one file at a time; with multiple files selected, the Rename button is disabled.
