Find & replace corrects a name or term throughout the transcript or summary.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Find and replace.
How to use it?
- Open the transcript or summary and click the Find and replace icon in the top-right toolbar.
- Enter the word to find. The bar shows the number of matches, and the arrows step through them. Tick Replace to enter the replacement.
- Replace one instance at a time, or replace all matches at once.
Good to know
To stop the same misrecognition in future recordings, add the correct term to your custom vocabulary.
FAQ about Find & replace
Does replacing update the summary?
Replacements apply only to the page you ran them on: on the transcript page they update the transcript, on the summary page they update the summary. Replacing across both at once isn't supported yet. Regenerate the summary if you want it rebuilt from a corrected transcript.
