Set the languages Plaud uses for transcripts and summaries.
Where to find it
On the Web, click your workspace name in the top-left corner and go to Settings → Preferences. Both settings are in the Generation section. These defaults apply to new recordings and imports.
What you can set
- Audio language: the language Plaud expects in your recordings. Keep Auto unless your recordings are consistently in one language. Transcripts are generated in the spoken audio language, not translated.
- Summary language: the language your summaries are written in.
FAQ
Why is my transcript in the wrong language?
Check Audio language first: if it's set to a specific language, recordings in other languages transcribe poorly. Set it back to Auto, then re-transcribe the file.
Is this the same as the display language?
No. The display language changes the Web interface only. See Display language on Plaud Web.
