Search finds files by name and moments inside transcripts and notes.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Search or Sort and source files.
How search works
Click Search in the side navigation to open the search window ("Search files by name or keyword"). It keeps your recent search history, and you can navigate results with the keyboard (↵ to open, Ctrl+↵ to open in a new tab, Esc to exit). Search covers file names, file content (transcripts, summaries, and text documents), speaker names, and folder names. Results highlight the match, and opening a file jumps to the first match. Narrow results with the Folder, Type, Speaker, and Date range filters, and sort results by relevance, created time, or modified time.
Search tips
- Only fully processed content is searchable; give new files a moment after upload.
- No results? Check spelling, clear filters, and try shorter keywords.
FAQ about search
Does search cover my Plaud Team workspace?
Search runs within the workspace you're currently in. To find files in your Plaud Team workspace, switch to that workspace first: search doesn't work across workspaces.
