Custom vocabulary teaches Plaud your names, brands, and jargon. Transcripts spell them right.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Custom vocabulary.
What is custom vocabulary?
On the Web this feature is called Custom vocabulary: custom terms that guide speech recognition, applied at the raw transcript stage and carried into the polished text and summary. Entries are case-sensitive, and the list syncs across your devices.
How to manage custom vocabulary on the Web?
- Click your workspace name in the top-left corner and go to Settings → Preferences. In the Generation section, click Custom vocabulary.
- Turn on Enable custom vocabulary. Plaud automatically applies your vocabulary list to improve future transcription accuracy.
- Click + Add and fill in the entry: the Correct spelling (e.g. "B2B"), optionally what it's commonly Misheard as (e.g. "bee to bee"), and the Language it applies to. Click Done to save.
The page also shows how many corrections have been applied to your transcripts so far. You can add up to 2,000 custom vocabulary entries; the limit is shared across all languages: there's no separate list for Japanese.
