Clean up transcript automatically creates a polished, easier-to-read version. The original text is always kept alongside.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Auto Polish.
Where to find it
On the Web, click your workspace name in the top-left corner and go to Settings → Preferences. In the Generation section, toggle Clean up transcript automatically. It removes filler words and minor formatting issues to make transcripts easier to read.
How it works
The toggle is on by default. With it on, Plaud produces a cleaned-up reading version in addition to the original text. On the transcript page you can switch between Cleaned-up text and Original text at any time. See Transcription on Plaud Web.
Turning the toggle off only affects new recordings from then on. Existing files keep the versions they already have. If you turn it back on, you can generate the cleaned-up version again for your files.
FAQ
Does switching versions change my transcript?
No. Both versions are kept; switching only changes which one you're viewing.
