Fix names, terms, and wording directly in your transcript.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Edit transcript.
How to edit a transcript?
- Open the recording and click the Audio & transcript card to open the transcript.
- Hover over the paragraph you want to fix and click the edit icon that appears at its top right. The paragraph becomes an editable text box. Make your changes, then click outside to finish. (The icon next to it copies the paragraph.)
Good to know
- While editing, undo works with Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z; after you exit, edits are saved.
- Editing the transcript doesn't update an existing summary. To get a summary that reflects your edits, regenerate it.
- For a term that repeats throughout the transcript, use Find & replace on Plaud Web instead of editing line by line.
- To prevent the same recognition errors in future recordings, add the term to your custom vocabulary. See Custom vocabulary on Plaud Web.
