Share a public link anyone can open, or invite specific people by email.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Share link.
How to share?
- Open the file and click Share.
- In the Share link dialog, choose the content to include (Audio, Transcript, and Summary are all ticked by default; untick what you don't want), and click Create link.
- Once the link exists, set Link expires (default Never expires), then Copy link to share it, or Remove link to stop access. The file's Share button shows Shared while a link is active.
Public links
Anyone with the link can view in the browser without an account, and can save a copy to their own Plaud account after signing in. Set an expiration from the Link expires dropdown, and remove the link anytime to stop access.
Private sharing
In the Share dialog, switch to the Invite tab and invite people by email: only invited emails can open the link, and the recipient's Plaud account must match the invited email. You can adjust or remove an invitee anytime, with removal taking effect immediately. For the full flow, see Share recordings and notes.
