Symptoms
Plaud Note won't charge or won't turn on. You can reset the device without losing any data or changing any settings.
Steps
- Check your charger. Use a power adapter that says "DC-5V" and outputs at least 0.5A. If yours doesn't, try a different one.
- Charge without the case. Remove Plaud Note from the Magnetic Case and connect the charging cable directly to the magnetic area on the device.
- Inspect the charging cable. Confirm it is the original charging cable. Once connected, gently wiggle the cable to ensure good contact and watch for the indicator light. If the light turns on, charge for at least 10 minutes and try recording again.
- Clean the charging port. Gently clean the charging port with a dry paper towel in case dirt is causing the issue.

Reset the device. While the device is connected to power, press and hold the Record button for 15 seconds.
If the issue persists
If the device still won't charge or turn on, submit a request and send us a video of the reset process.
Note: A successful reset requires both actions at the same time. Pressing and holding the Record button for 15 seconds while the device is charging. Doing them separately won't reset the device.
