Symptoms
- The transcript for a recording is generated, but the summary is not generated automatically.
- This is often caused by an unstable network connection during processing.
Steps
- Check your network connection. Make sure your phone is connected to the network and the network is working properly.

Re-transcribe to generate the summary. Re-transcribe the recording to generate the summary. Note that re-transcribing consumes your transcription minutes.
If the issue persists
If the summary still does not generate after re-transcribing, submit a request and include the following so our support team can investigate:
- Your device model and OS version, plus the Plaud App version.
- The name or date of the affected recording.
- A screenshot of the file showing the transcript present but the summary missing.
