What is recording through the Plaud App?
Recording through the Plaud App lets you trigger your connected Plaud device to start recording from within the Mobile App. It is for anyone who wants to begin a recording without reaching for the device.
How to record through the Plaud App?
- Connect your Plaud device to the Plaud App.
- With the device connected, tap + at the bottom of the screen, then tap Start recording.
FAQ about recording through the Plaud App
Can I record without connecting to the app?
Yes. You can press the record button directly on the Plaud device to start recording, with no app connection required. The device records independently.
Does the recording stop if I close the Plaud App or move away from my phone?
No. Once recording starts, it runs on the Plaud device itself. Closing the Plaud App, locking your phone, or moving out of Bluetooth range does not stop or affect the recording. The recording transfers to the Plaud App the next time the device connects.
