What is merging recordings?
Merging recordings lets you combine two or more existing recordings into a single new file. The merged recording is created as a separate file, the original recordings stay in your library.
How to merge recordings in the Plaud App?
- Find the recordings you intend to merge.
- Swipe left, and you will see the "Merge" option.
- Select two or more files and tap on "Merge" to merge them into one.
Notes on merging recordings
- Originals are preserved. The merged recording appears as a new, separate file. The original recordings stay unchanged in your library.
- Audio is combined in chronological order. The new recording plays each selected file in the order it was originally captured.
