AutoFlow automatically generates transcripts and summaries whenever you sync or upload a recording. It can also email them to you when they're ready. Set trigger conditions to choose which recordings AutoFlow runs on, and Plaud handles the rest.
What is AutoFlow?
AutoFlow is an automation feature that monitors incoming recordings and, when a recording meets your trigger conditions, automatically starts transcription and summarization. You can create multiple AutoFlows for different scenarios, such as one for meetings and another for lectures.
Before you start
AutoFlow processes recordings with more than 200 words (about 5 minutes of speech or longer). Shorter recordings upload normally but don't trigger AutoFlow.
How to create an AutoFlow?
- Open Plaud App and tap AutoFlow (in the Explore tab)
- Tap the + icon (top-right)
Step 1: Configure When (trigger conditions)
Choose one or more conditions:
- Recording keyword
- Set a keyword (for example, meeting). The keyword must be spoken in the first 60 seconds of the recording to trigger AutoFlow.

FAQ about AutoFlow
Why didn't my AutoFlow run?
Check the following: the recording must have more than 200 words of content; if you used a keyword trigger, confirm the keyword was spoken within the first 60 seconds; and check whether an earlier AutoFlow in the list matched first (only the first match runs).
Can I create more than one AutoFlow?
Yes. You can create as many AutoFlows as you need for different recording scenarios. They run in list order, and only the first matching AutoFlow executes for any given recording.
I didn't receive the email. What should I check?
Check your spam or junk folder. Confirm that the AutoFlow is enabled and that the recording met all trigger conditions (word count, keyword timing, source).
Can I use AutoFlow on Plaud Web?
You can view your existing AutoFlows on Plaud Web, but creating and editing AutoFlows requires Plaud App.
Does AutoFlow use my transcription minutes?
Yes. AutoFlow-triggered transcriptions count toward your plan's transcription allowance the same as manually triggered ones.
