Start recording
- Press and hold the record button for 1 second.
- When you feel 1 vibration and the red light turns on, you're now recording.
End recording
- Press and hold the record button for 1 second.
When you feel 2 vibrations and the red light turns off, recording has ended.
Add highlights
While recording, press briefly (less than 1 second) to add a highlight marker at the current moment.

Activate Recording
Press and hold the Record button until the device vibrates once.
Stop Recording
Press and hold the Record button again until the device vibrates twice.
Press to Highlight
During recording, short-press the Record button to highlight a specific moment.

Starting a Recording
Long-press the center of the device with a little force→ Gentle vibration → 1 strong vibration + red light turns on→ Recording has started.
Note: If you only feel vibration but no red light, the recording has not started successfully.
Ending a Recording
Long-press the center of the device with a little force again → Gentle vibration → two strong vibrations + red light turns off → Recording has ended.
Note: If the red light stays on, recording is still ongoing. Make sure to feel two strong vibrations
Plaud Note
To start a note recording:
Toggle down the record button to Note Recording mode.
Long-press the record button and hold it for 1 second until you feel one vibration, indicating that the recording has started.
Long-press the record button and hold it for 1 second until you feel two vibrations, indicating that the recording has ended.
To start a phone call recording:
Toggle up the record button to Phone Call Recording mode.
- Long-press the record button and hold it for 1 second until you feel one vibration, indicating that the recording has started.
- Long-press the record button and hold it for 1 second until you feel two vibrations, indicating that the recording has ended.
Highlight
Short-press the record button to highlight a specific moment. A white light flash means the highlight is added.
Note: Please update the firmware of your Plaud Note and the Plaud App to the latest version.
