What are AI models?
AI models are the underlying large language models that power Plaud's summarization. Plaud connects to multiple frontier models from top providers, automatically uses the latest version available, and lets you pick a specific model when you generate a custom summary.
How to view available AI models?
- Open a recording and go to Generate.
- Tap Custom generation, then tap AI model to see the full list of supported models.
Notes on AI model availability
- Models are updated automatically. Plaud uses the latest version of each supported model. When providers release new versions, the list updates accordingly.
- The supported list can change. Specific models may be added or removed over time as providers update their offerings.
- Per-summary selection is supported. You can choose a specific AI model each time you generate a custom summary.

Which AI models does Plaud currently support?

Why does the AI model list change over time?
The list reflects what is currently supported. When a provider releases a newer version or Plaud adjusts its supported models, the list updates so you always have access to the latest available options.
