No. Plaud Team does not currently support merging or migrating between workspaces. Each workspace is an independent unit with its own subscription, Members, and content.
What is the recommended consolidation approach?
If you need to consolidate, follow this approach:
- Choose one workspace to keep.
- Invite the Members from the other workspace to the one you are keeping.
- Have Members manually export and upload any important recordings to the new workspace.
- Cancel the subscription for the workspace you no longer need.
Can I migrate my personal recordings into a Team workspace?
To keep your private data secure, your Personal and Team workspaces are completely isolated from one another. Joining a team will not merge or move your existing recordings.
If you need to bring specific files into your Team workspace, you can safely share or export them one by one using the Plaud App.
Can I move content between two Team workspaces?
Direct transfers between Team workspaces are not supported. We keep every workspace completely independent to ensure your data stays secure and isolated.
FAQ about workspace migration
Will Plaud build a merge or migration tool in the future?
While we don't have an ETA for an automated bulk-migration or workspace merge tool, we still want to help. If you are facing a massive data transfer, please reach out to our support team so we can review your specific needs and explore how best to assist you.
What happens to content in a workspace I cancel?
Cancelling a workspace subscription does not immediately delete content. The workspace enters read-only mode at the end of the current billing cycle — existing content remains accessible for export, but no new actions can be taken. See Payment issues, cancellation, and expiry.
Can I export my content before consolidating?
Yes. Individual recordings and notes can be exported through the Plaud App and Plaud Web. Plan to export what you need before the workspace enters read-only or expired state.
