Symptoms
- The Auto-generated output is incomplete, with missing parts of the transcript or summary.
- The output is misaligned, with content out of order or not matching the audio segments.
- This usually happens when the audio is too short, which can lead to partial or unstable Auto Generation results.
Steps
- Check the recording length. Make sure the recording is longer than 5 minutes.

Generate the output again. Re-run the process and wait until the status shows Completed, then review the new output to confirm it is complete and aligned.
- On the Plaud App: open the recording, tap ··· in the top-right corner, then tap Re-transcribe.
- On Plaud Web: open the recording, click ··· in the top-right corner, then click Re-transcribe.
- On the Plaud App: open the recording, tap ··· in the top-right corner, then tap Re-transcribe.
- Try again with a longer recording. If the current recording is under 5 minutes, record a new audio longer than 5 minutes and run Auto Generation again.
If the issue persists
If the output is still incomplete or misaligned, submit a request to our support team. Please include:
- The recording link
- The summary link
- The audio duration
- What went wrong (incomplete or misaligned) with a brief description
- Screenshots of the issue, if available
