What happens when my Plaud Credits run out?
When your available Plaud Credits run out, you'll need additional Plaud Credits to keep using Work mode. Chat mode, transcription, and default automatic summaries continue under your current plan. When your balance runs low, Plaud shows a notice with a top-up option. If you're on the Starter or Pro plan, you can also upgrade to a higher plan to receive more Plaud Credits; Unlimited is the highest tier, so topping up is the way to add Plaud Credits there.
How do I buy more Plaud Credits?
Purchased Plaud Credits are valid for 1 year from purchase. You can buy a pack in the Plaud Mobile App or on Plaud Web:

Plaud Mobile App: tap the menu button (☰), tap your plan badge at the top (it shows your remaining minutes), then under Add-ons tap Buy more credits.

Plaud Web: at the bottom of the left sidebar, click the row that shows your remaining Plaud Credits, then click Buy a credit pack.
Will running out of Plaud Credits automatically trigger a payment?
No. Running out of Plaud Credits does not automatically trigger a payment. Purchasing additional Plaud Credits requires your confirmation. Note that Trial credits, the one-time Plaud Credits granted with your plan, are valid for 3 months from the day you update to the new Plaud Mobile App and expire if unused; within that period, they are only deducted by your own usage.
