Import audio, video, documents, and images from your computer. Recordings get transcribed, and documents are ready for Plaud Agent to work with.
Applies to: v4.0.x or later. Still using v3.30.x or earlier Plaud Web? See Audio import.
Limits and formats
- Audio and video: up to 24 hours and 500MB per file. Files longer than 5 hours are split automatically. Formats: MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG, 3GP, and other common audio and video formats.
- Images (PNG, JPG): up to 20MB each.
- Documents (PDF, DOC, PPTX): up to 15MB each.
- Text (TXT, MD): up to 2MB each.
Audio and video are transcribed like any recording. Documents and images aren't transcribed: they're stored for reference and for use as context in Work tasks.
How to import?
- Click + Add → Import files in the side navigation, or drag files straight into the browser window.
- In the Import files dialog, click or drag files in to upload. Import starts after transcoding, and duplicates are skipped with a notice.
Files are sorted by their original creation date, not the upload date. Switch the sort to date modified to see new uploads on top.
