The Skill community offers ready-made Skills to install in one click. You can also share your own.
Installed Skills run in Ask Plaud's Work mode, which uses Plaud Credits.
What is the Skill community?
The Skill community is a public library of Skills built by Plaud and by other users. Instead of writing a Skill from scratch, you can browse proven ones for meetings, interviews, sales calls, medical notes, and more, then add them to your own Skill list.
How to browse and install a Skill?
- Select Tools in the side navigation, then open the Skills tab.
- Browse the Recommended list, or filter by category, such as Meeting, Call, Interview, Medical, Sales, or Consulting.
- Open a Skill to see what it does, then select Add skill.
- Installed Skills show an Added badge in Tools and appear under My skills on the Skills tab, ready to invoke in a Work conversation.
Installed copies are read-only. When the author publishes an update, you choose when to apply it.
Skill suites
A Skill Suite bundles related Skills for one role, so you can install a complete workflow at once. For example, the Legal Assistant suite turns meeting transcripts into legal work product, and the Medical Scribe suite converts doctor-patient conversations into structured clinical notes. Tools always has the up-to-date lineup. See Plaud Skill suites on the Web for what suites are, and How to use a Skill Suite for the full workflow.
How to publish your own Skill?
- Create a Skill in a Work conversation, or under Tools → Skills → + Add skill.
- Publish it from the skill's detail page: choose a category, then Submit for review. Every published Skill passes an automated check plus a security review.
- Track everything you've shared under My contributions in Tools.
FAQ about the Skill community
Are community Skills free?
Yes. Adding a community Skill doesn't cost anything. Running a Skill happens in Work mode, which uses Plaud Credits like any other Work task.
Can I edit a Skill I installed?
Not directly. Installed copies are read-only.
