Plaud One recordings not uploading, or stuck in a pending state? This article walks through five fixes, easiest first. The most common causes are Private Cloud Sync being off in the Mobile App or a weak 4G signal.
Steps
-
Check that Private Cloud Sync is turned on
Plaud One uploads recordings to the cloud over 4G, but they only appear in the Plaud Mobile App when Private Cloud Sync is on in the Mobile App. With it off, recordings uploaded over 4G won't sync to the Mobile App. Turn it on to have new recordings sync in real time. See Private Cloud Sync.
-
Wait for the automatic reconnect
After a brief signal loss, such as in a parking garage or an elevator, Plaud One reconnects and resumes uploading on its own. In the Plaud Mobile App, check that 4G on your Plaud One shows as Connected, then give it a few minutes. If it doesn't show as Connected, see Plaud One can't connect to 4G.
-
Reconnect manually
Close and reopen the Plaud Mobile App to refresh the connection. If that doesn't help, open your Plaud One's settings in the Mobile App and tap Device control > Disconnect or remove device > Disconnect. The Mobile App then searches for your Plaud One and reconnects automatically. Your earbuds stay connected to your phone. Don't choose Erase & remove, which clears all Plaud One data.
-
Upload through your phone
Connect Plaud One to the Plaud Mobile App and upload pending recordings over your phone's connection instead of 4G.
-
Still can't find the file in the Mobile App?
Follow File missing in the Plaud Mobile App for the app-side checks (account, sync, and search).
Your recordings are safe in the meantime. A weak 4G signal doesn't stop Plaud One from recording. It only delays uploads, and pending recordings stay on the case until they upload.
If the issue persists
Submit a request and include the following so our support team can investigate:
- Your country or region, and whether you recently traveled
- Whether your device is a mainland China or international version
- How long the recordings have been pending
- Your device S/N (on the bottom of the charging case)
- Your Plaud Mobile App version
- Your Plaud Mobile App log (tap the menu icon > Help Center > Diagnostics > Share log; see Export a log file in the Plaud Mobile App)
Some connection issues need our team to work with the network provider, so include as much detail as you can.
