Plaud users who created their own account have a Personal workspace. When your organization subscribes to Plaud Team, members also get access to a Team workspace as a separate environment. Content, settings, and billing are kept independent between the two.

Can I use both at the same time?
Yes. When you join a Team workspace, your Personal workspace remains unchanged. You can switch between them at any time:

Content created in your Personal workspace stays there, and content created in the Team workspace stays in the Team workspace. Plaud does not automatically merge or migrate content between workspaces.
What happens to my Personal workspace if I join a Team?
Nothing changes. Your Personal workspace, its content, and your individual subscription (if any) remain completely unaffected. The Team workspace is an additional, separate environment.

Can I use my Personal workspace content in the Team workspace?
To ensure strict data privacy, content never automatically syncs between workspaces. If you would like to bring a personal file into your Team workspace, you can safely do so by exporting the file and uploading it there.
Will my individual Plaud subscription still work after I join a Team?
Yes. Your Personal workspace subscription (Starter, Pro, or Unlimited) remains independent. Joining a Team workspace does not change, cancel, or merge your individual plan.
Can I be in more than one Team workspace?
Yes. You can belong to multiple Team workspaces in addition to your Personal workspace. Each has its own settings, Members, billing, and content boundary.
Why can't content be moved automatically between workspaces?
The strict separation between Personal and Team workspaces is a deliberate security feature. By disabling automatic transfers, we ensure your private recordings are never accidentally exposed to your team, while keeping billing and compliance perfectly organized.
