This article explains where to find the country/region assigned to your Plaud account in the Plaud App, and what that setting controls.
Where do I see my account country/region?
You can view it in the Plaud App:
- On the home page, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner to open Settings
- Scroll down and tap Account
- View your country/region in the Country/Region row
The Plaud App shows this value for reference. It is read-only, so you can see your country/region but you can't edit it directly here.
Why is my country/region set to this value?
Your account country/region is assigned when you register, based on your network environment at the time, such as your IP location. It isn't set from your phone's language or system region.
This can look incorrect if you registered while using a proxy, on a corporate or school network, or while traveling. If you need to correct it, see Can I change the country/region for my Plaud account? for how to request a change.
