Your files are organized around how you work: calendar, folders, navigation. Meetings live on a calendar, projects in folders, and everything is reachable from the side navigation.
What changed?
Previously, everything lived in one Files list. Now, the side navigation (☰) splits your content into clear areas:
- Home: your home view. It shows upcoming calendar events alongside finished meeting notes grouped by time, so what's scheduled and what's recorded live in one place.
- Library: your file home: My files (system folders like Recordings and Imports, plus your own folders) and Trash.
- Ask Plaud: your AI workspace. Chat mode answers questions about your recordings. Work mode runs tasks and routines.
- Tools: browse and share Skills and summary templates.
Where things went
- Trash lives inside Library: open Library, then tap the ⋯ button in the top-right corner and choose Trash. See Delete and restore recordings.
- Search is the magnifier at the top of the side navigation (☰), and also in the top-right corner of Library, and works across file names, content, speaker names, and folder names. See Search, sort, and organize your files.
- Import lives behind the + button in the top-right corner of the home screen. See File import.
FAQ about the knowledge base
Where are my existing files?
They migrate with your account. Recordings appear in your file areas, and files linked to calendar events show up in My meetings. See Upgrading to the new Plaud Mobile App.
Can I still use one flat list?
Yes. The Home view is your flat list: it shows all your meeting notes in one chronological feed, regardless of which folder they live in.
