Your best Skill is someone else's head start. Publish yours, and build on what others have shared.
Skills work in Ask Plaud's Work mode, which uses Plaud Credits.
What is the Skill community?
The community is where Plaud users share Skills. Open it from the side navigation (☰ > Tools) and switch to the Skills tab: browse Featured Skills, including curated Skill suites (see Plaud Skill suites) and Recommended Skills filterable by category, plus your Added Skills and your own contributions under My contributions. More shared Skills mean faster starts for everyone.
How to install a Skill from the community?
- Browse the Skills tab, filter by category, or search for a Skill.
- Open the Skill or Skill suite to review what it does and what's included.
- Tap Save to add it. Added Skills show an Added tag in the community and appear in your Skill list (☰ > Tools > Skills > My skills, under Added skills) as read-only copies.
You can uninstall and reinstall a Skill at any time.
How to publish a Skill?
- In ☰ > Tools, tap + in the top-right corner and choose Publish skills.
- In Publish your skill, pick the Skill you want to share.
- Confirm the Skill name and category, then tap Publish. Skill names in the community must be unique.
- Wait for review. Every published Skill passes an automated check plus a security review, which takes about 2 business days.
How Skill updates work
When an author publishes a new version, your installed copy keeps working as is. An update icon appears next to the Skill in your list, and you decide when to review the changes and update.
FAQ about the Skill community
